Winner of the Sylvia Earle One Ocean award and Master of Competition for Ocean Geographic’s Picture of the Year competition presented by Michael Aw and Wyland.
2015
One Voice - Short film
Named best short film at the Blue Ocean Film Festival in Monaco. Included in program for global leaders at COP21 in Paris to inspire climate action.
2016
One Voice Selected for the San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition, Ocean Film Festival World Tour, and the My Hero International Short Film Festival.
2017
Koholā Film Project
Awarded the first ever NOAA commercial/educational photography permit to film humpbacks in Maui.
Awarded National Geographic Early Career Grant.
2018
Awarded OpenROV and National Geographic S.E.E. (Science, Exploration, Education) Grant.

2019

2021

Selected for the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival.
Awarded the Joby Filmmakers Grant presented by Moment.
Installed Maui’s first smart buoy and mooring system with the Sofar Ocean Technologies Exploration Grant.
5 year NOAA commercial/educational photography permit renewed for 5 seasons through May 2027.
